Powerful import of various image formats
Evince Image supports a variety. In addition to common image formats like jpg and tif, hyperspectral images in matlab or Envi format can be imported. Unnecessary image areas can be removed during the main import stage.
Envi, Matlab, jpg, gif, tif, SPF, SAC
Conversion of raw image data
Evince Image has functionality for converting raw images to reflectance or absorbance provided there exists a set of reference images.
Automatic unfolding of 3D image data
Evince Image automatically prepares your image data for multivariate data analysis and performs unfolding from 3D to 2D.
Efficient multivariate data analysis
Evince Image can perform PCA, SIMCA classifiction, PLS- and PLS-DA regression on your image data. This provides high flexibility in your analysis and lets you create needed calibration models for future predictions
Segmentation of image content
By using PCA, the user can easily segment images and remove the background or other non-essential areas.
Spectral analysis of image content
The user of Evince can inspect raw spectra or analyze principal component loadings for fully understanding the spectral content of an imported image. The Spectral Angle Mapper tool can be used for finding pixels of similar properties.
Spectral pre-processing
Evince Image come with several pro-processing tools that let you extract information more efficiently.
Multiplicative scatter correction, Savitzky-Golay smoothing and differentiation, Standard Normal Variate transformation, 1st and 2nd order differentiation
Prediction of new images
Models can be used for predicting both test sets or external files outside the created Evince Image project. A prediction table can be created for classification and quantification purposes.
Visualizations
Evince Image contains a range of useful visualizations for multivariate image analysis.
RGB image, Contour 2D, Contour 3D, Scatter 2D, Scatter 3D, line, histogram
Export of visualizations
Created visualizations are easily exported to common formats.
png, jpg, svg, tiff, gif
Exporting calibration models
The user can export full models including the data set the model was created from. Reduced models can also be exported and these include parameters necessary for prediction only.
