User-friendly import
Browse any storage media for file to import. The data is easily set to observations or variables. Including, excluding or adding new data is possible.
File import formats: Excel, HDF, HIPS, Matlab, SDF, ASCII (txt, csv, dat).
Multivariate data analysis
Perform principal component analysis, SIMCA classification, PLS or PLS-DA regression with just a click on the mouse.

Data pre-treatment
Apply scaling techniques and transformations to your data. Available data pre-treatment: Variable mean centering, Scaling to unit variance,  Pareto scaling, Interaction terms, logarithms, Quadratic terms,  Differentiation, Multiplicative scatter correction, Standard Normal Variate transformation, Savitzky-Golay smoothing and derivative, average, customized functions.

Intuitive graphical-user-interface with interaction between data and visualizations
Making a selection in Evince means related objects in other areas get highlighted. All major functionality is readily accessible from the user interface and is not hidden in menus.

On-the-fly model updating
Just press a button or activate the automatic model updating feature when the model settings have been altered or when observations and variables have been changed.

Powerful visualization tools
Choose from a large selection of visualizations. Plots are created with drag and drop. Available visualizations: Column, Contour 2D, Contour 3D,  Dendrogram, Histogram, Line, Pie Chart, Scatter 2D, Scatter 3D,  Scatter 2D density, Scatter 3D density.
Export of visualizations
Created visualizations and are quickly exported to a file for future use. Supported formats: png, jpg, svg, tiff, gif.

Export of calibration models
It is possible to export full models including data sets or reduced models including parameters necessary for prediction only.

Platform independent and multi-core CPU support
Evince can be run on Microsoft Windows, on MAC OS 10 or on Linux operating systems. A majority of the calculations benefits from having CPUs with more than one core.
